As a localization company specializing in software localization and technical translation, we play a critical role in bringing IT products to global audiences. Translators make up nearly 40% of our workforce, and their expertise and performance are essential to the company’s overall success.This role also serves as a strong foundation for career growth within Welocalize. It offers opportunities to develop skills that can lead to advancement not only in language-focused positions, but also in management and broader business functions.MAIN DUTIESPerform translations in various translation tools for assigned clients and projectsTranslate various types of content, e.g. marketing, help, UI, or regulated contentSupport the team with copy-edit tasks on selected content typesMaster the standard CAT tools and tools associated with translation work for internal clients (e.g. tools for creating queries or checking the live UI elements)Precisely follow the established translation process, e.g. always raise queries when there is a need toPrecisely follow the style guide and overall client requirementsImprove based on the corrections made bysenior team members as well as the client reviewersKeep track of personal error statistics and work on the weak spotsTake part in the internal trainings and the ones organized by the clientsParticipate in the error arbitration processMeet the KPIs in terms of productivity, on time delivery and qualityTake part in the internal quality meetings and the quality calls organized by the client for the whole teamConstantly analyze own gaps and think of what assistance the senior memberscan provide to help address thoseMeet the goals set by the team managerPERFORMANCE MEASURESHourly and daily productivityOn time deliveryQuality scoresOVERALL PERFORMANCEThe Translator’s overall performance will be evaluated by the Team Lead, taking into account factors such as work attitude, sense of responsibility, communication skills, teamwork, attendance, and other relevant performance criteria. xcskxlj Translators are expected to consistently meet clearly defined performance standards and deliver high-quality results.REQUIREMENTSEducation LevelUniversity degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent combination of education and experienceFluent in host language, both written and spoken, fluent in respective translated language, both written and spokenExperience & Relevant SkillsNative-level in Irish and English, both written and spoken2-4 years of experience in translation/localization/editing or content writing#J-18808-Ljbffr
