Qualitas Funds is part of Ridgepost Capital (NYSE:RPC), a leading, specialized multi-asset class private markets solutions provider with over $40BN in AUM offering a comprehensive suite of niche-oriented strategies.About the role:The Investment Associate supports the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of private equity investments, with a focus on secondaries and NAV financing transactions. The Investment Associate will participate directly in underwriting, transaction execution, portfolio discussions and investment decision-making across a range of strategies, including fund investments and co-investments. The individual will work closely with Investment Directors and Partners in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to both deal execution and broader strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact role with increasing responsibility and ownership over time within a growing, entrepreneurial platform. Given the entrepreneurial nature of the platform, the role extends beyond traditional deal execution and includes involvement in reporting, fundraising support, strategic initiatives, and broader firm-building effortsKey Responsibilities:Evaluate investment opportunities across secondaries, NAV financing, fund investments, and co-investmentsBuild and maintain financial models; perform valuation analyses (DCF, comparables, LBO)Conduct due diligence, including market, sector, and manager researchPrepare investment memos, committee materials, and internal analysesPresent findings and recommendations in investment and portfolio discussionsManage relationships with GPs, advisors, legal counsel, and other stakeholdersMonitor portfolio performance and support reporting and review processesAssist with fundraising efforts, investor materials, and strategic initiativesCollaborate across teams and contribute to firm-wide projects in a lean environmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, private credit, or other relevant field. Direct experience in private equity secondaries, NAV financing or complex private market transactions strongly preferred.Strong financial modeling and valuation skillsSolid understanding of financial statements, investment structures, and transaction dynamicsAbility to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendationsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities, with senior level partiesSelf-starting attitude and entrepreneurial spirit balanced with a commitment to teamworkProactive in following up on details, anticipating issues, and closing loops on all requestsResourceful and able to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be fluent in English and fluent in Spanish or PortugueseStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
