ppThe Instructional Designer is a member of the Education Services team and is responsible for designing and developing e‑learning training and instructor‑led materials for Imprivata customers. This position drives strategy and the creation of the Imprivata online training content and design scope as set by the Customer Education department. /ppThe Instructional Designer will apply instructional design principles and various established learning models to the development of training materials across all solutions, working with global teams to assist with languages and translations of content. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliConduct needs assessment by interacting with subject matter experts from Product Management and Engineering, content developers, and business stakeholders to gather learning requirements and course goals. /liliEvaluate engineering product requirements and assess scope of product features and changes. /liliCreate strategic goals to streamline processes and development cycles. /liliIncorporate proven adult learning principles in all learning plans and asset development. /liliFollow the defined development process and write courseware that is industry specific. /liliDevelop standardized course materials using pre‑defined corporate templates, tools and approved methodologies. /liliDevelop role‑based scenario content that supports customer success. /liliParticipate in LMS administration and publish content based on customer subscriptions. /liliCreate certification program tests to fulfill certification program requirements based on adult learning theory. /liliReview course evaluations and document recommendations and product updates into courseware as products evolve. /liliDevelop a subject matter expert program to build deeper relationships with Product and Engineering. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliUse of current e‑learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline and ancillary tools like Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects). /liliSolid understanding of software and blended learning courseware development life cycles. /liliStrong knowledge of instructional design and development methodologies. /liliAbility to function in a fast‑paced environment under substantial time pressure. /liliStrong educational acumen and awareness of instructional best practices for the modern learner. /liliKeep up to date on learning industry trends, insights, new technologies and data. /liliEnthusiastic collaborator who can manage stakeholders across multiple disciplines. /liliProven ability to solve complex problems and enhance processes measurably, with clear, concise updates to stakeholders. /liliKnowledge of user interaction design, graphic design, typography, color theory (plus). /liliIndustry knowledge in healthcare and/or software security (plus). /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, education, or a related field. /liliMinimum of 1‑3 years of experience designing and developing e‑learning software content. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3ulliCompetitive salary. /liliFamily medical insurance. /liliExtended paternity leave. /liliAnnual performance bonuses. /liliReferral bonuses. /liliFlexible work schedules and support for work‑life balance. /liliOpportunities for professional development, including English classes, certifications, and training. /liliPotential for international travel. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
