For one of our key international clients, we have an exclusive mandate for an Interim HR Director & Social Relation based in Spain.
You will implement a sensitive business & social transformation, develop the social relationship, and ensure HR business continuity. This interim position is based in Madrid and includes various southern European countries.
Requirements:
Based in Spain.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Expertise in Spanish labour law with a proven track record in social relations management and restructuring contexts.
To qualify, your experience must include the above key assets.
Availability: Immediately available to start mid‑January 2026.

The Opportunity
Interim HR Director & Social Relations (M/W)
Direct report at HR Group level, matrix organization, functional relation with Operational & support teams, in coordination with external legal advisors.
Key Priorities
Implement the social transformation in close coordination with the Group, within Spanish labour laws and HR legal processes.
Ensure HR business continuity by directly managing the local HR team during the transformation.
Deploy the new organization, aligning both the country and other European countries with the new business strategy.
Mission length: 6 months, extensible upon the situation.
Your Key Skills & Profile
Expert in Spanish social & legal relations.
Proven experience in restructuring.
Expertise in BtoB sectors such as specialized distribution, transport, logistics, supply‑chain, fleet management, warehousing or equivalent.
Strong legal knowledge of labour and social matters.
Experience working with Group and local employee representative bodies.
Hands‑on, execution‑driven profile with a strong “doer” mindset.
Spanish native or fully fluent, fluent business‑level English.
Agile within complex matrix organisations.
Pragmatic, reliable, and easy to work with.
