About Generator Barcelona
You'll find Generator Barcelona, a hotel and hostel, in the buzzing district of Gracia. The hostel’s just a short walk from Gaudi's iconic Casa Batllo apartments. The interiors showcase a mix of styles and include an oversized wooden birdcage, a winding staircase and a mezzanine chill-out lounge.
Feast on local delicacies in our bar and lounge, which is decked out in ornate Hungarian concrete floor tiles and earthy raw metals and woods, and if you’re looking for a little more luxury, Generator Barcelona also offers terrace rooms and a penthouse apartment in the hotel with mind-blowing panoramic views of one of Europe’s best-looking cities. NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
Overseeing the team and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and other assigned areas
Monitor the supervision of effective bedroom cleaning, servicing and maintenance, ensuring sufficient room stock is available to meet business demands
To ensure that the Hotels housekeeping practice and standards are adhered to
Have a good understanding of our guests needs and give your team members direction to fulfil these needs in a fast and effective way
Complete any required administrative function
Display a passionate, fun and enthusiastic approach to work in order to inspire and motivate the members of the team, creating an enjoyable, cohesive and supportive working environment to work within
Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance inclusive of COSHH
Create Quality Standards

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE
Previous experience as Housekeeping Manager or similar role
Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organisations
Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products

SOBRE EL PUESTO ¿QUÉ HARÁS?
Supervisar al equipo y garantizar la limpieza e higiene del hotel, habitaciones, zonas comunes, lavandería y demás áreas asignadas.
Supervisar la correcta limpieza, mantenimiento y preparación de las habitaciones, asegurando una disponibilidad adecuada para cubrir la demanda del negocio.
Garantizar que se cumplen los estándares y procedimientos de housekeeping de la compañía.
Comprender las necesidades de nuestros huéspedes y guiar al equipo para satisfacerlas de forma rápida y eficiente.
Realizar las tareas administrativas necesarias para el correcto funcionamiento del departamento.
Mostrar una actitud positiva, dinámica y entusiasta que inspire y motive al equipo, fomentando un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo y agradable.
Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de salud y seguridad, incluyendo la normativa COSHH.
Crear estándares de Calidad

TU EXPERIENCIA ROCK STAR
Experiencia previa como Housekeeping Manager o en un puesto similar.
Experiencia práctica en tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento en organizaciones de gran tamaño.
Conocimientos en el uso de maquinaria y productos de limpieza industriales.
