This includes all our people driving value from data and enhancing their work through AI.Who are we?Sabadell Zurich is a joint venture created in 2008as a result ofa business agreement between Banc Sabadell, one of Spain’s leading banks, and Zurich Group, a global leader in the insurance industryto distribute insurance products through banking channels.The joint venture is made up of three companies:BanSabadellVida,BanSabadellPensiones, andBanSabadellSegurosGenerales, each owned 50% by both partners.The Sabadell Zurich team is composed of 350 employees, who are organizationally part of the Zurich Group in Spainandlocatedin Barcelona.YourRole &ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Audit, SpainSaZyou willbe requiredto fulfil duties associated with key function holder (KFH) underapplicable regulationfor the Life, Pensionsand P&C Companies of Sabadell Zurich.You willbe responsible foraudit activities,reportinglineto the AuditCommitteeandthe Regional Audit Lead, in addition to a matrixreport to the CEO. This ensures thatyou can fully engage with, and contribute to, the strategic actions and plans of the local Senior Leadership Team.In this role, you will be expected to use and co-develop leading audit practices to continuously improve the SaZ risk-based dynamic audit plan and be accountable for the high-quality delivery of this plan. You will positively influence the business risk and control environment, through a combination of reporting at the Board Audit Committee, Risk & Control Committees, Executive Committee and any other key management fora, as well as developing strong working relationships with the Board, CEO, Executives and Senior Management. The need to build an open and constructive relationship with the regulators is evident.As a seniormanagerin Group Audit, you will also implement and drive strategic priorities, and co-create a leading audit functionutilizingData Analytics,AIand Agile methods. You will beexpected to role model and deliver. Importantly, you will be fostering a positive culture and driving an environment of continuous growth, where the team always feels connected to our purpose and becomes a recognized leader in the market.Your Skills and ExperienceAs the Legal Entity Head of Internal Audit (LEHIA),SaZ, within the Group Audit function, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Chartered Accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent. An MBAor equivalentis a plus.Proventrack recordin financial services or insurance, with the ability to influence executive and senior stakeholders.Demonstrated success in dealing with external stakeholders, including regulators.Extensive experience in auditing, with comprehensive knowledge of audit methodologies,including the application of data analytics,to achieve impactful and insightfulresults.Strong understanding of Life and P&C insurance.People Management capabilityExceptional project management skills, with the ability to organize teams, prioritize tasks, and guide and coach the team to deliver high-quality results on time.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Additional InformationYour primary work location will beBarcelona.Flexwork: We love flexibility!
