Position OverviewAsHead of Asset Managementin Algeciras, you will lead the maintenance and repair strategy for terminal assets, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage maintenance and repair departments to ensure operational efficiency. Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with global standards. Drive productivity optimization through process improvements and LEAN principles. Ensure compliance with local Safety, Health, and Environment regulations. Collaborate across departments to align asset management with business objectives. Monitor and analyze technical issues in mechanics, structural, electrical, and control systems. Foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement. Build a solid relation with the AM workers representative, guided and aligned with LLRR and HHRR. Build solid relations with other departments. Critical Qualifications & Skills University degree in engineering or a relevant field. Minimum 5 years' experience leading maintenance and repair teams. Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Leadership skills with the ability to empower and motivate teams. Fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of local SHE regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EPR/CMMS systems. Experience in quality management and customer satisfaction principles. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across the local organization. Strong interpersonal skills able to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests toward a common business benefit. Able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the overall effect of decisions taken, both locally and company-wide. Able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
