If you thrive in a world defined by sophistication and are passionate about delivering seamless service at the highest level, we invite you to join us on this remarkable journey.Position SummaryThe Guest Port Services Specialist oversees and coordinates all shoreside activities associated with Amangati’s turnaround operations, including arrival, debarkation, embarkation, guest transfers, and overall port-side logistics. This role serves as the central liaison between Aman at Sea, Columbia ship management, port agents, ground handling teams, hotels, transportation providers, and shipboard operations to ensure seamless guest flow, operational precision, and adherence to the highest service standards. This position is critical to delivering ultra-luxury guest experience during Amangati’s port calls while proactively mitigating operational risks and minimizing delays. Through detailed planning, real-time coordination, and strong stakeholder collaboration, the Guest Port Services Specialist ensures every transition between ship and shore reflects the excellence synonymous with the Aman brand. This role will be based in one of the following countries: Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Greece, or Turkey. Candidates must have legal right to work in one of these locations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead comprehensive pre-planning for each turnaround port call, including scheduling, resource allocation (personnel, vehicles, equipment), guest segmentation, and contingency design.Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and operational feasibility evaluations to ensure every port call meets Aman at Sea standards.Establish, refine, and continuously elevate turnaround SOPs, operational playbooks, checklists, and contingency frameworks.Forecast staffing, equipment, and ground service requirements, recruit, train, and pre-brief local or temporary teams to Aman at Sea’s service standards.Oversee real-time execution onsite (or through local presence), making decisive, guest‑centric operational decisions.Design and manage seamless debarkation and embarkation experiences, preserving guest privacy and minimizing visible operational friction.Oversee premium baggage handling, VIP arrangements, priority services, and special assistance requirements.Manage all guest transfer logistics between ship, airports, hotels, and bespoke destinations with punctuality and discretion.Serve as the principal liaison between shipboard operations, itinerary planning, port agents, terminal operators, regulatory bodies, and luxury ground partners.Develop and nurture strategic relationships with port authorities, transfer operators, hotels, and destination service providers.Ensure strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), regulatory requirements, and Aman at Sea’s uncompromising quality standards.Safeguard health, safety, and security protocols, particularly during high-volume guest movements.Monitor and protect on‑time vessel departure commitments through disciplined operational oversight.Escalate and manage operational disruptions, incidents, or service challenges with composure, authority, and sound judgment.Collect and analyze performance metrics including on‑time performance, guest satisfaction, incident reporting, and resource utilization.Lead structured post‑turnaround debriefs, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective action plans.Review and reconcile vendor invoices, staffing variances, and operational expenditures, supporting cost discipline and budget integrity.Collaborate with Marketing, Guest Services, Charter & Incentives, and Communications teams to ensure accurate guest messaging and alignment of logistics.Participate in budget planning, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives.Identify opportunities for innovation, digital integration, automation, and continuous enhancement of the guest arrival and departure experience.Report operational performance, emerging risks, and strategic improvement opportunities to senior operations leadership.Qualifications, Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Logistics, Tourism, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).5–8+ years of experience in cruise operations, luxury shore operations, destination management, port operations, or complex logistics environments.Demonstrated experience in turnaround operations, guest logistics, ground services, or port coordination strongly preferred.Experience within ultra‑luxury hospitality, yachting, or high‑touch travel environments is highly desirable.Established network relationships with port and ground service stakeholders.SkillsExceptional operational and project management capability.Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making skills.Refined communication skills across multicultural, cross‑functional environments.Composure and agility under pressure, tight timelines, and irregular schedules.Proactive problem‑solver with strong initiative and discretion.Advanced proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); experience with dashboards, or logistics platforms advantageous.Fluency in English required; additional languages preferred.Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays aligned with cruise operations.Willingness to travel internationally as required. xcskxlj BenefitsJoining Aman at Sea means becoming part of one of the world's most exclusive ultra‑luxury brands.
