Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is looking for a Fund Finance Analyst based in Madrid .
As a Fund Finance Analyst , you will support the analysis and execution of subscription lines, equity NAVs and ABL transactions for private capital clients (e.g. credit, private equity and infrastructure funds) at every stage of the process, from origination to closing.
We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for :

Responsibility for tasks related to financial modelling, due diligence analysis, preparing materials and providing support for internal approval processes
Providing assistance with legal documentation negotiation and transaction closing, including internal operations.
Management of NDAs and preliminary documentation, with support from the legal department
Assistance in preparing marketing materials to support origination with clients
Responsibility for internal information management processes and pipelines, and for coordinating with relationship teams
Work alongside internal stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Capital, Markets) to structure efficient transactions under SCIB's framework

Professional Experience

Good understanding of capital structures, credit analysis, and legal documentation in structured lending (Required)
Previous experience in Structured Finance, Fund Finance, M&A, Private Equity or related roles within investment banking, funds, or financial advisory (Preferred)

Education

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar (Required)
Postgraduate studies (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance) (Preferred)

Languages

Fluent in English (Required)
Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
Other European languages (Preferred)

Hard Skills

Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory frameworks (Preferred)
Financial Modelling (Preferred)

Soft Skills

Problem-solver with high attention to detail and a proactive mindset (Required)
Analytical and strategic thinking (Required)
Good communication and stakeholder management skills (Preferred)
