Your JobThe ability to collaborate with various capabilities in a matrixed organization is fundamental to success in the role. This role will report to the Commercial Roofing Manager - Europe - who is based in the UK. 50% travel throughout the territory is required.Our TeamGeorgia-Pacific Gypsum is one of the largest plasterboard manufacturers in North America and the innovators of the leading roof protection board brand in North America. You will be on the International Sales Team, a growing team, responsible for profitably growing markets outside the US and Canada with our equity brand of gypsum panels. Growing the roof board category in Europe is one of the main growth opportunities for the broader gypsum division.What You Will DoKey Influencer and Key Account Identification, Development and Management: Identify and develop key influencer accounts in line with the business strategy to drive mutually beneficial outcomes. Leverage CRM tool to effectively execute and track account management plans.Sales Strategy/Territory Plan Development: Leverage market analysis and economic thinking to develop and execute sales strategies and a territory plan. Collaborate with Inside Sales, Logistics, Product Management, Technical, Marketing to ensure we have alignment and support for the plan.Market Analysis and Development: Define and continually update existing and new market analyses related to opportunity, competitive situation, construction practices and regulations/standards, barriers, market pricing, etc. so that strategies and priorities can be validated and adjusted.Technical Support: Facilitate providing technical support to waterproofing manufacturers, roofing contractors, and the design community; leverage internal resources to ensure compliant responses that meet customer needs while mitigating risk.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Strategic thinkerExcellent presentation and communication skillsPrincipled entrepreneur and problem solverStrong analytical and economic thinking skillsProactive approach to marketStrong collaboration and leadership skills with internal teams and capabilitiesSelf-disciplined and highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independentlyExperience in commercial roofing salesWell-connected within the construction value chain including design community, main contractors, and commercial roofing contractorsProficient Microsoft office skills including excelProficient technical understanding of commercial flat roofing systems including single ply and bitumenWhat Will Put You AheadProven record of accomplishment of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams globally to develop and execute commercial strategiesExperience navigating FM Approvals System called RoofNavFamiliarity with flat roofing code, performance, and standards in the territoryExpertise with Salesforce CRM or similar CRM toolsBachelor's degree in management, engineering, building construction, architecture, or the sciencesUnderstanding of architectural sales and the construction processExperience with the building enclosure or exterior constructionFluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plusOur BenefitsCompetitive total compensationPersonal development opportunitiesWorking within a Principle-Based Management Culture
