The Ayuntamiento de Palma is opening a competitive public recruitment process for 3 positions as a Fire Officer (Oficial de Bomberos). This full-time public sector role belongs to the Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale, within the Palma Firefighting and Rescue Service. Responsibilities
Supervising and directing emergency interventions, fire suppression, and rescue operations across Palma.
Leading teams of firefighters and ensuring effective command during incidents.
Maintaining operational readiness, safety compliance, and training standards across the service.
Coordinating tactical efforts with other municipal emergency services and public administration bodies in Mallorca.
Eligibility
Hold a university degree (Bachelor's degree, Diplomatura, or equivalent higher education qualification).
Fulfill the general eligibility criteria required for local public civil service roles in Spain.
Pass the corresponding selective evaluation tests as detailed in the official regulations.
