Accountant and Finance Assistant | Miss Group

Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts for the USA, Canada, and UK entities, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
*Perform detailed variance analysis against budget and forecasts, providing clear commentary and actionable insights to senior management.
*Collaborate with operational and commercial teams across regions to support financial performance, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives.
*Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the assigned territories.
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
*Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring financial documentation and controls are maintained to a high standard.
Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or international equivalent).
*3–5+ years of experience in management accounting or a similar role, preferably within a multi-entity or international environment.
*Solid understanding of multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange (FX) management, including revaluations, FX gains/losses, and exposure analysis.
*Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems.
*Strong attention to detail with excellent reconciliation skills.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
*Previous experience as an Accountant or Finance Assistant (or similar role).
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
*Experience with tax filings and compliance.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
