Finance Manager | Creative Agency | Barcelona | PE-Backed
A private equity–backed creative agency based in Barcelona is looking to hire a Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and support the next stage of growth.
This is a standalone role, offering full responsibility for the day‑to‑day finance operations of the agency while working closely with senior leadership. You’ll also have exposure to the wider group finance team, providing visibility across the broader organisation and opportunities to contribute to group initiatives and strategic projects.
This role would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, ownership, and partnering with leadership in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
Key responsibilities
Full ownership of the finance function for the Barcelona agency
Manage month‑end close, management accounts, and financial reporting
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Provide commercial insight to the leadership team on revenue and performance
Monitor project profitability, margins, and operational costs
Maintain strong financial controls and continuously improve processes
Liaise with the wider group finance team for consolidation and reporting
Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external partners as required
About you
Experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
Comfortable operating as the sole finance lead within a business unit
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to support non‑finance stakeholders
Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
Proactive, organised, and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment
