With a portfolio of over 550 products and presence in more than 28 countries, we work with leading brands such as Grupo Herdez, Tajín, Isadora, as well as our own private labels, positioning ourselves as a key player in the “World Foods” category within the European retail market.We are looking for an experiencedAccountant with strong DATEV expertiseto join our finance team and manage the accounting ofCrevel Germanyfrom ourMadrid office (with the possibility of remote work).
The selected candidate will be responsible for all financial accounting tasks and tax compliance in accordance withGerman accounting standards (HGB) . This role will act as a key liaison with tax advisors, external auditors, and public authorities.General accounting in DATEV: posting and booking invoices (AR/AP), goods, COGS analysis, bank transactions, travel expenses, and journal entries.
Bank reconciliations and transaction monitoring.
Support in the preparation of tax returns in coordination with theSteuerberater.
Documentation control and filing, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements.
Participation in external audit processes.
Optimization of accounting processes and workflows in DATEV.Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an accounting role related to Germany.Advanced knowledge of DATEV (Kanzlei Rechnungswesen, Unternehmen Online, etc.).
Solid understanding of German accounting regulations (HGB).
Strong skills in MS Excel and ERP systems, ideally Odoo.
Upper-intermediate to advanced level ofGerman and English.Involvement in international projects and direct exposure to leading brands.
