Position Description
We are currently looking for a Field Service Specialist to join our Iberia team. The main territory of scope will be the Madrid region, but not limited to, as there is a possibility of covering the remaining Spanish territory and abroad.

Your Tasks
On-site field support of QIAGEN automated solutions and analytical devices.
Work includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and general support of laboratory instrumentation on all levels (hardware, software and utilization).
Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers and references.
Assist in meeting/exceeding sales targets and related KPI's in relation to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, in a timely fashion, and aligned with any regulatory requirements. Utilize relevant internal CRM databases to input and provide information to the organization.
Positively represent QIAGEN in front of the customer, be a good example.
Your Profile
Mechanical/Electrical/Biomedical Engineering degree. Molecular biology knowledge is a plus.
Automation experience or minimum of 3 years of service (preferred).
Support experience in a comparable position within the after-sales service business in the Clinical or MDx Market, or equivalent experience repairing and maintaining instrumentation in the Clinical and/or MDx field, in vitro diagnostics, hematology, and/or chemistry.
Minimum IT/Network/Lims knowledge required.
Experience in Service and Repair of high complexity laboratory instruments (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal Spanish language communication skills, as well as professional level of English language, written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively on a national level (85%), and internationally occasionally.
Ability to lift up to 25kgs.
