Our client, a fast-growing international consumer business, is looking to hire a commercially minded Competition Lawyer to join its European legal team. This is a high-impact role for a lawyer who thrives in a dynamic B2C environment and wants to work at the centre of strategic business decision-making across Europe. The Role You will advise on a broad range of EU competition law matters, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across legal, commercial, regulatory, and compliance teams. The role offers strong exposure to complex behavioural competition issues, strategic transactions, and business-critical projects across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities Advise on EU competition law matters, with a particular focus on abuse of dominance, and horizontal and vertical agreements Support the business on complex behavioural competition issues across European markets Develop and roll out practical competition compliance programmes and internal training initiatives Advise on distribution models, pricing strategies, digital platforms, and commercial partnerships Work closely with external counsel and engage with competition authorities where required Deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Candidate Profile Qualified lawyer with strong EU competition law experience gained in private practice and/or in-house Significant experience advising on abuse of dominance matters is essential Strong understanding of behavioural competition law and commercial agreements Experience supporting merger control and competition aspects of M&A transactions Commercially astute with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and an international mindset Fluent English required; additional European language skills are advantageous This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded international business and work on cutting-edge competition law issues in a visible, strategic role with genuine international scope.
