The role involves full on‑site ownership of construction delivery and is the single point of accountability from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover, spending approximately 80% of time on site in Catalonia. This high‑impact leadership position acts as the key interface between contractors, engineering teams, and project leadership.EPC Director will work under a multi‑contract structure (Anaerobic Digestion, Digestate Treatment, and Civil Works). Acting on behalf of the project owner, the role focuses on on‑site execution, coordination and integration of all contractors to ensure successful delivery.Job ResponsibilityLead construction execution across AD, DT, and civil contractors, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality targets.Lead the construction organization, including site management, engineering, and QA/QC functions.Coordinate and manage all interfaces between contractors and engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align scope and schedule.Resolve technical, sequencing and scope conflicts between contractors.Act as the senior authority on site, overseeing contractor performance and site logistics.Coordinate independent engineering representatives and the owner's engineering teams.Ensure full compliance with Spanish HSE regulations and ESG standards, promoting a strong safety culture.Track construction progress, identify risks and implement mitigation actions.Support management of variations, claims and delays from an execution perspective.Drive commissioning activities and ensure smooth, documented handover to operations.Ensure transparent reporting in collaboration with project governance functions, covering schedule, risks and improvement areas.Ensure proper documentation, including operation & maintenance manuals, for effective plant operation.Preferred Candidate12–20 years of experience in EPC or construction of industrial/energy projects.Proven experience managing multi‑contractor environments and complex interfaces.Experience in biogas, waste‑to‑energy or process plants strongly preferred.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.Strong understanding of industrial plant construction and mechanical/process integration.Experience with commissioning of complex facilities.Familiarity with Spanish construction and HSE regulatory framework.Strong leadership presence and ability to operate effectively on site.Excellent coordination, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Ability to manage contractor conflicts and drive resolution. xcskxlj Fluent in Spanish and English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
