Our Electrical Services organization in EMEA, covering 25 countries with 500+ employees, being a fast-growing business responsible of life cycle management of all of our Electrical products, systems and software portfolio. We are serving customers in Data Centers, Utilities & Energy, Industries, Buildings, Healthcare segments by providing installation, commissioning, warranty care, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting services, spare parts, equipment life extension, modernization and end of life services.The division has very ambitious Growth plans for 2026 and forward, technical innovation & strategic development initiatives are being deployed at the moment.We are looking for a Lead Service Engineer in Zaragoza, SP.What you’ll do:Highly computer and IT literate with a keen eye for detailAbility to create RAMS (risk assessments, method statements) including arrangements for high voltage, high current testingHarness a safety culture and confident with LOTO (lock out tag out) system of workingTheoretical and practical understanding of MV distribution systems with evidence of electrical qualifications, including but not limited to 3 phase theory, harmonics, power factor correctionAbility to produce test plans for SAT (site acceptance testing) of MV systems based on switchgear specification, scheme drawings, standard tests and relay settings.Understanding and interpreting electrical drawings with the ability and confidence to challenge potential drawing omissions.Sound knowledge of MV mechanical installationHigh level competence in post installation primary plant testing;Low resistance/ductorInsulation resistanceHi potential/DielectricCT AnalyzationPrimary injectionHigh level competence in the safe use of commissioning test equipment (T&R, Megger, Fluke, Omicron including automated test file creation)High level competence in advanced commissioning;Function testing of MV switchgearInter tripping, interlocking, blocking, CBF, I/O’sRelay commissioning and the creation of config files from exposure of a number of different manufacturersExcellent file management skillsAbility to react to breakdowns/call outs and drive through to resolutionCompetent in MV witness SAT testing and carrying out customer demonstrations of Eaton equipmentAbility to be lead engineer and work within a team with an ambition to improve the quality of delivery and customer experienceWorking closely with project management ensuring deliverables are within target completion dates.Coaching/developing new and existing engineers where required and a desire to develop further in technical fieldsThe flexibility to work within EMEA and stay away when requiredSound working knowledge of relay testing in the following areas;Pick up drop off voltage and currentDirectional boundary pick up drop offDOCEF (directional over current earth fault)Sync checkSupervision functions (CT & VT, TCS)Knowledge in the following area’s may be desirable in the future of the role;G59/G99Power transformer testingPower factor correctionAuto transfer system testingDifferential protectionsPLCQualifications:HND or Equivelant experience10 Years +10 Years +5 Years +What we offer:Competitive compensation and benefits packageChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative teamFlexible working solutionsWe make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible#LI-MR1All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
