Overview
In this role you provide hands-on electrical expertise during wind turbine installation, connection, and finishing to ensure readiness for commissioning. You work closely with engineering and field teams to resolve electrical and quality deviations, while upholding HSE standards. You will guide on-site supervisors, contribute to method improvements, and support prototype testing of new electrical solutions. The position is international and hands-on, offering opportunities to influence turbine reliability and performance across the lifecycle.

ResponsabilidadesProvide technical electrical support during installation, connection, adjustment and finishing of the WTGIdentify and resolve electrical and quality deviations to enable smooth commissioning and long-term reliabilityEnsure compliance with HSE on site and intervene if safety rules are breachedCoordinate and implement electrical technical modifications with EngineeringDeliver on-site training and technical guidance to supervisors and field teamsImprove electrical instructions, work methods, and procedures for installation and finishingCollaborate in prototype testing and validation of new electrical solutionsReport site activity status and prepare technical documentationPerform electrical quality checks and document findings and corrective actionsParticipate in coordinating site activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Requisitos principalesVocational technical studies (FPII/Technical Diploma) – mandatoryEngineering degree (Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical) is a plusMinimum 3 years of wind industry experienceExperience in wind farms (installation, electrical works, commissioning or maintenance)Comfortable working at heights and in demanding HSE environmentsExperience leading teams or in quality roles is valuedSolid electrical knowledge and hands-on approachGood computer skills (Office, reporting tools, technical platforms)Resourceful with problem-solving mindset and onsite decision makingStrong focus on safety, quality and operational excellenceFull availability to travel without restrictionsInternational driving license (or willingness to obtain)Good level of English (spoken and written)Safety-focusedProblem-solving mindsetTeam collaborationElectrical installation and commissioningElectrical quality checksTroubleshooting electrical deviations
