With 96.5% of our staff expressing high satisfaction in being part of this family, we are currently seeking an Electrical Lead for our offices located in Abu Dhabi.Requirements- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, with specialization in Power Systems Engineering, Industrial Electrical Engineering, Energy and Substations, or Engineering Project Management.- Minimum of 15 years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas or petrochemical projects.- Proven experience as Senior Engineer and/or Electrical Lead in complex industrial projects.- Participation in at least one EPC UAE Onshore or Offshore project.- Solid experience in design, supervision, and commissioning of power systems, substations, electrical distribution, industrial lighting, grounding, and electrical protection systems.- Experience in managing technical interfaces with other disciplines, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and UAE standards.- Practical knowledge of international standards and electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API).- Advanced English level C1 or higher.Location- 100% on-site in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities- Lead the electrical discipline during basic engineering, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.- Review and approve drawings, electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and project deliverables.- Ensure correct application of IEC, IEEE, NEC standards and UAE specifications.- Coordinate with engineering, project, procurement, and construction teams to ensure proper integration of electrical design.- Manage technical interfaces with contractors, suppliers, and other project disciplines.- Provide technical support to procurement in the preparation of requisitions, technical evaluations (TBE), and supplier documentation review.- Participate in technical meetings with manufacturers and follow-up of electrical packages.- Manage technical queries, deviations, and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.- Participate in technical and progress meetings with the client, ensuring timely closure of comments.- Ensure all electrical activities comply with project quality, safety, and QHSE requirements.- Ensure proper implementation of applicable corporate procedures and standards.- Perform other duties inherent to the position.Why join DAPIN?- You will be part of a global community of professionals passionate about engineering, innovation, and large-scale change.
