Overview
In this role you lead the EHS program at the Martorell JIT facility to ensure regulatory and company compliance. You collaborate with operators, supervisors, and site leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and reduce workplace risks. You drive continuous improvement through risk assessments, training, and incident investigations. You contribute to emergency preparedness and environmental integration in daily operations. ResponsabilidadesCoordinate and maintain the site's EHS program for regulatory and company complianceConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessmentsLead job safety analyses and implement risk mitigation measuresDeliver EHS training programs including onboarding and refreshersInvestigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions with root-cause analysisMonitor EHS performance indicators and prepare compliance reportsPartner with operations to implement safety improvementsSupport emergency drills and response plansParticipate in safety committees and promote employee engagementEnsure environmental requirements are understood and integrated into daily operations
Requisitos principalesMaster's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Environmental Health, or equivalent experience4+ years in EHS roles within manufacturingStrong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practicesExperience with risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigationsAbility to influence, train, and advise employees and leaders on safe practicesinfluencetraining and developmentcommunicationrisk assessmentsincident investigationssafety inspections
