Akerlei Idiomas is a well-established language school located in the Basque Country (north of Spain). We are currently expanding and looking for qualified and committed English teachers for different positions.We offer:1) Immediate start – In-company classesEarly morning scheduleOn-site classes in the Ermua / surrounding areaTeaching adult professionalsIdeal for teachers already based locally and looking to complement their timetable2) Position starting after Easter (renewable for the new academic year)Teaching children, teenagers and adultsSmall groupsAfternoon/evening schedule3) Several full academic year positions (September 2026 – June 2027)Average teaching load: 25 contact hours per weekMaximum 12 students per classAdditional time for lesson planning, preparation and meetings in accordance with the Collective AgreementErmua is a safe and well-connected town between Bilbao and San Sebastián, offering excellent quality of life, green landscapes and easy access to the coast and major cities.Requirements:University degreeCELTA or TEFL qualificationMinimum 1 year teaching experienceExperience with Cambridge exam preparation (desirable)Valid work permit for SpainOnly candidates who already hold a valid work permit for Spain will be considered.
