About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years practitioner who will deliver high‑quality education that inspires curiosity and supports individual development. The role involves planning, delivering, and evaluating a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, creating engaging, play‑based learning experiences that promote exploration, active learning, and critical thinking. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and evaluate a curriculum that meets the EYFS framework and supports all learners. Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of children and foster a positive, well‑organised classroom that encourages independence and wellbeing. Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and support staff to observe, assess, and track children’s progress, using data to inform planning and next steps. Provide clear, constructive feedback to parents and maintain effective communication with colleagues. Focus on pastoral care, building positive relationships, supporting personal, social, and emotional development, and promoting positive behaviour in line with school policy. Maintain professional development, safeguard children, adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, and keep up‑to‑date training. Qualifications Experience working in an Early Years setting and a relevant university degree, alongside a recognised teaching or Early Years qualification. Strong organisational and classroom management skills with the ability to plan engaging and effective learning experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community. Secure understanding of early years pedagogy, commitment to inclusive education and a proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching. Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This is a permanent, full‑time role, with a start date of 31/08/2026 .
