ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssists residents with loading and unloading from facility approved vehicles. /li liEnsures the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments or other approved activities and outings. /li liMaintains the interior and exterior of facility vehicles to promote safe and comfortable transport and project a positive image in the community. /li liMonitors vehicle maintenance logs and delivers vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations. /li liPerforms all other duties as assigned. /li liIs flexible with work time (in the event a resident appointment or activity runs late). /li liHas training and is able to demonstrate safe clinical-based transfer techniques for ul liIngress and egress of mobile patients with van transfers of patients into and out of wheelchairs. /li liProperly securing wheel‑chair bound residents into bays in vans. /li liLifting transfer and mobilizing patient weights of up to 70 pounds by self in confined areas inside a van. /li /ul /li liCan make complex decisions involving a highly dependent patient base. /li /ul h3Supervisory Requirements /h3 pThis position has no supervisor responsibilities. /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma or GED. /li liMinimum age 25 years. /li liValid driver’s license. /li liFamiliarity with GPS and local driving area. /li liNo traffic crimes in the last 7 years; DUI, DWS, reckless driving, or traffic felonies are disqualifying. No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years and no more than one accident in 3 years. /li liPasses a drug screen and background check. /li liLanguage skills: ability to read, write, and understand job‑related instructions and manuals; ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and residents. /li liMathematical skills: ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. /li liReasoning ability: ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Suite products. /li liCompletion of CNA training and maintenance of all continuing education to keep certification. /li /ul h3Physical Demands /h3 ul liOccasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds. /li liRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear. /li /ul h3Work Environment /h3 ul liNoise level usually low to moderate. /li liReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pNothing in this job specification restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities for this job at any time.
