An important multinational industrial group, with manufacturing and commercial operations across several European countries, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its headquarters in Zaragoza. The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for the organisation's financial management and will play an active role as a member of the Executive Committee. Mission: To lead the company's financial function, ensuring the efficient management of economic resources, providing key information to support decision-making, and actively contributing to the strategic development of the business. Key Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the General Management and forming part of the Executive Committee, the successful candidate will assume, among others, the following responsibilities: • Define, develop and implement the company's financial strategy. • Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. • Oversee the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, business plans and strategic plans. • Direct management control and profitability analysis across the different business areas. • Ensure the reliability of financial information and the accurate preparation of financial statements. • Supervise accounting, tax and audit processes. • Manage treasury, financial planning and the Group's financing requirements. • Maintain and develop relationships with financial institutions, auditors, external advisors and public bodies. • Actively participate in investment, expansion, growth and organisational improvement projects. • Drive the digitalisation and optimisation of financial processes. • Develop key management indicators and decision-support tools. • Lead, develop and motivate the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. • Work closely with the company's different departments, contributing a global and business-oriented perspective. Required Profile: • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline. • Postgraduate qualifications highly valued (MBA, Master's Degree in Finance or equivalent). • Minimum of 10–12 years of experience in positions with significant financial responsibility. • Proven experience leading finance teams. • Previous experience within industrial companies of a certain organisational complexity. • Experience in multinational environments and international groups will be highly valued. • Strong knowledge of management control, financial accounting, taxation, treasury and corporate finance. • High level of English is essential to operate effectively in an international environment (minimum C1 level). • Proficiency in financial management tools, ERP systems and reporting platforms. • Availability to undertake occasional national and international travel.
