Company Description We’re looking for a Director F&B to join our team at The Hoxton, Poblenou. The Hoxton Poblenou is located in Barcelona and is our 11th Hoxton hotel. The property boasts 240 bedrooms of different sizes, a large restaurant Four Corners with The Slice shop and La Bodega, a rooftop pool, our taqueria Tope, a bright and airy lobby, a multi‑functional basement events space and The Apartment – a unique meetings & events concept. Our hotels are open‑house establishments that invite locals and guests to engage with the neighbourhood. Since our first opening in Shoreditch, we’ve never just offered a bed for the night; we provide a place where people can hang out, enjoy great food, and immerse themselves in vibrant public spaces. Reporting to the General Manager and with a dotted line to the VP Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for all F&B operations throughout the hotel, recruitment and management of FOH and BOH staff, driving the business to achieve budgeted KPIs and maintaining a high guest satisfaction rating in keeping with Hoxton standards. What you’ll do Lead a dynamic pre‑opening team and oversee multiple food & beverage outlets, including a diverse events space. Drive revenue through strategic management of commercial initiatives alongside the leadership team. Own the P&L, manage costs efficiently while keeping quality high and the guest experience top‑notch. Collaborate closely with the Head Chef on menu development to ensure food quality and consistency. Place guest and team experience at the heart of all decisions, leading from the front and being visibly present throughout the business. Qualifications > 2+ years’ experience in a similar food & beverage management/director role, either across multiple sites or a single £4m+ revenue per year business. Track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens and bars, inspiring trust and collaboration. Multi‑departmental budgeting and forecasting experience with a clear understanding of financial expectations. Proficiency in managing the budget on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, reporting results with granular trend analysis. Exceptional detail orientation in a fast‑paced environment, capable of juggling multiple priorities. Passion for hospitality and a willingness to have a positive impact on guests and teammates.
