The IREC Foundation seeks candidates with outstanding scientific and technological experience in the Institute's activities who can propose an exciting and dynamic program for the future of the institute, its leadership in the international energy sector, and its role in Catalonia. The IREC director receives the support of the management area of the institute as well as from the Board of Trustees of the IREC Foundation. Main responsibilities : Scientific & Technology & Management Promoting and facilitating leading-edge, including collaborative and interdisciplinary research. Providing scientific & technological vision, strategic goals and leadership by devising a strategic plan and monitoring its implementation in agreement with the scientific advisory board and the board of Trustees. Deploying interactions with authorities and programs searching that the institute to maintain a world class infrastructure and cutting-edge scientific core services including the availability of space and installations.
