About the RoleIn Schneider Electric, we are accelerating the digital transformation of our MESA plant and looking for a Digital Engineer to make an impact.You'll join the Digital & Transformation team, working side‑by‑side with Production, Maintenance, Industrialisation and Data to bring smart, data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions to life. This role is ideal for someone who loves technology, industrial environments and turning data into real operational improvements.Responsibilities- Deploy and scale SMART tools across the plant, implementing digital solutions that automate tasks, improve data capture and support decision‑making on the production lines. Ensure proper integration into existing processes and guide teams during adoption.- Deploy key digital systems. Work with MES to capture real‑time data, improve component traceability and digitalise quality and operational activities. Enable the plant to operate with greater visibility, control and efficiency.- Lead Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence projects. Participate in or lead advanced initiatives such as smart torque, computer vision, predictive analytics, AI‑driven process optimisation and intelligent automation, directly impacting factory efficiency and modernisation.- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance to improve processes. Identify opportunities, digitalise manual activities, eliminate waste and accelerate problem solving.- Analyse data and detect trends using digital tools and AI.
