You will have your leadership capacity stretched to its full potential as a front‑line leader, investing in others and developing a people‑focused leadership style, while mastering the tools, processes, and operations that have created the most customer‑centric company on Earth.This role is fully on‑site and requires flexibility to work and rotate shifts: weekends, holidays, overnight shifts, and the ability to work overtime during peak season or as needed.Key Responsibilities- Day‑to‑day management of the delivery station, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers.- Lead a team of Process Assistants and Delivery‑Service Providers in daily management of the station, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communicating with DSPs, management representatives and their drivers.- Ensure a safe workplace, properly trained people, and address their needs so they can focus on their jobs.- Lead change at internet speed, fostering innovation that keeps Amazon a global leader.- Route shipments within the Amazon Logistics coverage area.- Support and assign job duties to process assistants.- Adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.- Track and monitor sorting operations and drivers’ dispatch.- Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for the sort operation, managing a team group to meet all building goals.- Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and delivery service providers.- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.Qualifications- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.- 3+ years of people management experience.- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English.- 1+ year of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement principles & techniques.About the TeamAmazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third‑party distribution businesses.
