Our mission: "3 engineers within 1 hour of every data center globally."The RoleWe're looking for a skilled Data Center Technician in Ciudad Real, Spain to provide on-site technical support at local data center facilities.Key Responsibilities Remote Hands & Smart Hands support (cabling, power cycling, hardware swaps) Server rack installation and decommissioning Cross-connect and patch panel management Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics Visual inspections and inventory audits Escort and access coordination for client visits Emergency response and on-call availabilityRequirements Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centers Strong communication skills in English Ability to lift 25kg+ equipment Flexible availability including weekends/holidays for urgent requestsNice to Have Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Network+, CDCP, CCNA Experience at major DC providers (Equinix, Digital Realty, NTT, CyrusOne) Structured cabling expertise (fiber, Cat6, DAC)
