Our Cyber Security & SCADA team in the Mediterranean region is responsible for delivering advanced Monitoring, Control, and Data Acquisition (SCADA) technologies and Cyber Security solutions for wind power plants. We support our customers across the full project lifecycle—from sales to after-sales—ensuring compliance with local regulations while creating value through secure and reliable systems. As a Cyber Security Engineer specialized in Operational Technology (OT), you will be the regional expert and technical reference for all Cyber Security topics related to wind farms across the Mediterranean countries. You’ll work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and regulatory authorities to translate compliance requirements into actionable solutions, support tenders, and contribute to the development of new Cyber Security products and services. Identify and interpret Cyber Security requirements related to OT systems in the region and communicate them to customers and local authorities. Be the go-to Cyber Security contact for the Mediterranean region and represent the region in global Vestas Cyber Security initiatives. Support R&D with market inputs to help shape future Cyber Security product and service roadmaps. Train internal teams (Sales, SCADA, Service) and customers on new Cyber Security solutions. Prepare technical documentation for Cyber Security solutions during the bid phase. Support Operations teams with customer Cyber Security queries during project execution. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering: Automation, Telecommunications, Information Security, Electronics or related fields. ~3+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles on OT environments. ~ Familiar with Cyber Security frameworks like IEC 62443 and ENISA NIS 2 Directive. ~ Knowledge of network security, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, malware detection… ~ Proficient in English (spoken and written). ~ Analytical skills for document and compliance analysis. ~ An opportunity to grow in a global leader in the renewable energy sector.
