Job Title: CREDIT RISK REPORTING ANALYST (Boadilla del Monte)

Santander Back‑Offices Globales Mayoristas (SBGM) is a public limited company wholly owned by Banco Santander and part of the Santander Corporate & Investment Banking Division. SBGM was created to be a centre of excellence in the management of specialised operations and corporate projects for Global Businesses: Markets, Financing, Transaction Banking, Wholesale Risks, General Intervention, etc.
We are looking for a CREDIT RISK REPORTING ANALYST based out of the Cidade Financiera (Boadilla del Monte) office to perform post‑trade controls of securities operations in the Bank’s systems. The role involves daily contact with counterparties for trade confirmations, reconciliation of data between front‑office and back‑office systems, and oversight of securities positions. These controls ensure the correct settlement and management of the Bank’s portfolio, requiring strong knowledge of settlement markets and financial systems.
Responsibilities
Execution, control and analysis of the differences between Accounting and Risk figures
Ensure the input‑output traceability and its full control framework
Interaction with Counterparty Risk, Risk MI, CDO, Technology, Operations, Accounting, Capital areas
Accounting reconciliation skills
Qualifications
Professional Experience
Minimum 4 years experience in financial markets within the banking industry (required)
Education
STEM profile or ADE/Economics with a strong digital mindset (required)
Languages
High English level (required)
Hard Skills
Knowledge of financial products and regulatory issues (required)
In‑depth knowledge of financial products (required)
Familiarity with CCR IMM terminology and concepts (required)
Digital mindset and knowledge or experience with SQL, Databricks, SAS, Scala, DataLakes, PowerBI (required)
High level of Excel, VBA and office tools (required)
