Experteer Overview In this role you will manage credit and collections for Rain Bird's European entities, safeguarding assets while supporting sales and service teams. You will set and monitor credit parameters, drive cash flow, and maintain premier customer relationships. You’ll report progress on receivables and propose improvements, collaborating with Sales and Legal to resolve disputes. - Manages credit and collections activities with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversees credit policy and customer parameters to protect assets while enabling strong customer relationships
- Maximizes cash flow through ongoing communication with customers and sales teams
- Reports on credit and collections status and suggests improvements
- Collaborates with Sales and Legal to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans
- Monitors payments and bad debts
- Maintains customer billing, credit files, and FCPA-related documentation
- Develops credit scoring models to predict risk
- Performs other prudent tasks as directed by managementResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
- 5 years of experience in credit, collections, finance, or accounting (multinational or Big 4 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, collections, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAGE) and credit tools (e.G., Dun & Bradstreet)
- Business English and Spanish proficiency; French or Italian a plus
- Windows-based computer proficiency; Microsoft Excel and Word
