At Desigual we are looking for a passionate and hands-on Tax Advisor with 3-4 years of experience to join the Tax Department, reporting to the Group’s Head of Tax. You will lead the Spanish tax compliance matters of Desigual and work closely with the Finance Department on all tax compliance affairs of the Desigual Group companies.Por favor, lea detenidamente la información de esta oferta de empleo para entender exactamente qué se espera de los posibles candidatos.As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for…Coordination, supervision and review of the preparation of the recurrent tax returns of the Spanish entities of the Group, which are prepared by a Tax Compliance provider. Main focus on indirect taxation matters (Intrastat, OSS returns, and VAT returns), but also withholding tax.Managing the relationship with Spanish Tax Compliance advisors;Coordination, supervision and review of the indirect taxation matters of the Marketplaces in which the Group operates.Management of Spanish local taxes (mainly, Trade / Business Tax (“Impuesto sobre Actividades Económicas”) regarding the opening, closing and relocations of our stores);Other duties inherent to the job (tax advice to other areas, tax audits, management of tax compliance processes, etc.).Supervision and review of the compliance regarding e-invoicing and digital reporting rules established and to be established by the different countries in which the Group operates.Assist in the identification of system process improvements and lead its implementation, harmonizing procedures and enhancing overall tax compliance quality.Active participation within the development of new technological solutions for the digitalization of the tax function of the Group.You would be a good fit if you have…A degree in Economics, Law or Finance in general. MSc in Taxation is a plus.3-4 years of professional practice in multinational companies or tax firms.Experience across corporate tax and indirect taxes.Knowledge on Tax AccountingFluency in Spanish is essential. Intermediate/good English level.Experience and knowledge for using the SAP solution and HFM will be highly valued.Soft skills: Pro-active attitude & Team player. Good analytical skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders.
