The ideal candidate should have experience and understand what is required of an independent cook within a kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing lunches and dinners, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring dishes are of the highest quality. A minimum of Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) level of English is required.
Your main functions will be:

Experience in cooking and willingness to support the Chef and colleagues in the kitchen.
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure at certain times.
Priority on quality in preparations and hygiene.
Overseeing washing, vegetable preparation, cleaning, snack preparation, and mise en place.
Assisting the head chef or managing your own section in the kitchen.

Requirements:

At least an Intermediate or Upper-intermediate (B1-B2) level of English.
Studies in Gastronomy.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the gastronomy sector.

What do you get?

Contract through Dutch collective agreement.
Salary from 13€ to 15.50€ gross per hour (+ 21 years old). From 2,140€ to 2,550€ gross per month. Tips: 300€ net.
Weekly salary payments.
Accommodation in shared housing organized by the employer at a low cost, around 55€ - 65€ per week, close to the workplace.
At least 2 meals included during work hours.
Workweeks averaging between 35 and 60 hours (high season exceeds 40 hours).
Work schedule provided by the employer.
Subsidized health insurance at €33.50 per week.
Option to rent a bicycle or have one provided.
Boat ticket paid by our partners in the Netherlands.

Support and assistance in Spanish throughout the process: communication, interviews, and information.
