Job Description (Senior) Consultant in the Real‑World Evidence team. Reports to Associate Director, Real‑World Evidence. Location: Flexible (EU). At Alira Health, our Real‑World Evidence (RWE) team is deeply integrated across the organization, providing end‑to‑end RWE solutions. The team supports design and execution of real‑world observational studies and strategic integrated evidence plans for pharmaceutical clients. Responsibilities As a consultant you will work on client projects as part of a team, interacting closely with an Associate Director of the Real‑World Solution team. Key tasks: Develop study protocols, interpret data study reports, and create communication materials such as abstracts, posters, and manuscripts. Support the development of RWE proposals and presentations, RWE study design, statistical analyses, literature searches, communications, and medical writing. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s in Epidemiology, Data Science, or related field. Experience managing client and internal RWE projects with strong project management and communication skills. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, HTA) for RWE and epidemiology. Proven experience in epidemiological research, study design, and data analysis, including CER, post‑marketing commitments, and external control arm studies. Skilled in leveraging diverse RWD sources (e.g., SNDS, PMSI, UK Biobank, CPRD) for RWE studies. Basic statistical knowledge and ability to contribute to analysis plans. Proficiency in R, SAS, or Python for statistical analysis. Ability to interpret and communicate findings to stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, providers, and patients. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential). Languages English. Education Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Life Sciences.
