In this role, you'll develop and enhance cutting‑edge computational fluid dynamics software that powers thermal and battery simulation solutions for global manufacturers. You'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers, contribute to innovative features, and help shape the future of simulation technology that impacts industries worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize CFD algorithms and numerical methods for thermal and battery simulation applicationsDesign and implement software features that enhance simulation accuracy and performanceCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust technical solutionsConduct code reviews, testing, and validation to ensure high‑quality software deliveryParticipate in technical documentation and knowledge sharing with the broader engineering teamTroubleshoot complex simulation issues and provide technical support to customers and internal teamsQualificationsRequired:Strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or numerical simulation methodsProficiency in C++ or similar object‑oriented programming languagesExperience with software development practices, version control, and testing frameworksSolid understanding of thermal physics, heat transfer, or fluid mechanics principlesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fieldExcellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentPreferred:Experience with STAR-CCM+ or similar commercial CFD softwareKnowledge of battery thermal management or energy storage systemsExperience with parallel computing or high-performance computing (HPC)Familiarity with agile development methodologiesWhy UsAt Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. The applicable salary ranges for these locations are:Belgium: €61,500 to €110,700Greece: €32,100 to €64,200Romania: 186,000 RON to 353,300 RONSpain: €52,100 to €83,300This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
