Business Controller | Technology‑Driven Industrial Environment (Barcelona) Manpower Professional Recruitment is seeking a Business Controller with a strong business orientation and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and commercial teams. This position plays a central role in converting operational and commercial activity into meaningful financial analysis that supports strategic decision‑making. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and maturity of financial planning and reporting practices within a rapidly evolving business unit, operating in a technology‑focused industrial context and supported by an international organizational structure. Our client is a growing hardware and software company with a diversified customer base across several end markets. The business operates within a global technology and industrial ecosystem, delivering high‑value solutions that support innovation in areas such as healthcare, automation, and advanced manufacturing. Role and responsabilities Act as the embedded finance business partner for the business unit leadership team. Own budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes. Partner closely with Sales, translating pipeline and bookings into reliable forward‑looking revenue forecasts. Lead reporting on bookings, backlog, shipments and performance versus targets. Support the monthly accounting close, in coordination with local and corporate finance teams. Build integrated P&L and balance sheet forecasts, supporting AOP and quarterly business reviews. Deliver clear financial insights to support decision‑making and business growth. Profile Required 6+ years of experience in FP&A, controlling or finance business partnering roles. Strong commercial and analytical mindset, ideally with experience supporting Sales or revenue forecasting. Solid understanding of monthly close and accounting processes. Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is a strong plus. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders. Comfortable working in evolving, growth‑stage environments. Background in technology, hardware or industrial/manufacturing sectors is preferred. Fluent Englishis required; Spanish and/or Catalan are a strong advantage.
