Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products is implementing Digital solutions like Digital Passport System (DPS) & Digital Factory to become its global solution for global traceability, from suppliers to end-customers. DPS is a cloud-based platform that attaches unique digital identity and critical quality information to each of our products and allows immediate end-to-end identification and location of affected units if quality issues were detected. For our team, based in Spain, we are looking for a Business Analyst. How you will make an impact Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications and user stories. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision‑making. Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, clarify objectives, and drive consensus among stakeholders. Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Create and maintain detailed functional documentation, including process flows, use cases, and business rules. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (e.G., product managers, developers, QA) to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement and support change management initiatives. Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics to evaluate project outcomes and business impact. Your background Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a fast‑paced or tech‑driven environment. Strong knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, business process modeling, and documentation standards. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments. Excellent verbal and written English language skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable insights.
