From our new gigafactory in Sagunto (Valencia), we’re driving a project that’s transforming both the region and the future of clean mobility in Europe — and you can be part of it.Your role and key responsibilitiesClean & Dry Room Automation Expert responsible for the design, integration, and optimization of automation systems used in cleanrooms and dry rooms within advanced battery cell manufacturing environment.Design Management & CoordinationInvolve in tender phase to define requirements, review and validate technical offers from bidders, and lead technical alignmentLead and coordinate the review of contractor design deliverables, track progress and define alternative solutions in case of design difficulties/delaysEnsure alignment across disciplines (avoid gaps, inconsistencies)Consolidate technical feedback and provide unified responsesDesign and implement automation solutions for cleanroom and dry room environmentsUnderstanding the P&ID concept + Control Philosophy + Control NarrativeIntegrate environmental control systems with PLC, SCADA, and BMS platformsDefine control architecture for environmental systems including HVAC, dehumidification units, and air handling unitsDevelop automation strategies for humidity, temperature, and pressure controlCoordinate integration between process equipment automation and facility automation systemsSupport digitalization initiatives, including dashboards and predictive monitoringSupport Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)Implement continuous improvement initiatives for environmental controlCompliance AssuranceEnsure designs and philosophy comply with Employer’s Requirements, local regulations and codes, and project standards and specificationsIdentify deviations and drive corrective actionsContractor InterfaceAct as the primary technical interface and single point of contact with the contractorProvide technical guidance to contractors and system integratorsMonitor design progress vs. project milestonesSupport the timely assessment of RFIsStakeholder ManagementCoordinate with internal stakeholders (facilities, equipment planning, logistics, production, HSE, maintenance, quality) on a daily basisIntegrate inputs from different departments into the EREnsure stakeholder requirements are properly reflectedDesign Review GovernanceOrganise and lead design review meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessionsTrack comments, decisions, and open pointsRisk & Change ManagementMonitor design performance indicators and provide early warnings when critical activities show risk of delayEscalate critical issues early, provide management summariesSupport mitigation strategiesProvide technical input to permitting activities ensuring alignment with designSupport change management processes by assessing technical impacts (scope, cost, schedule, compliance)QualificationsExperience in Battery, Pharmaceutical, or semiconductor Clean & Dry room project management is preferredAdvanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Advanced competency with Design & 3D software (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D max, Lumion)Working knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Teams, Concur and SAP strongly desiredStrong organizational and problem‑solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong cross‑functional coordination abilitiesAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlinesBachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 4 years’ experience in EngineeringStanding OutDemonstrates adaptability to shifting priorities and demandsBenefitsPermanent contract and competitive remuneration packageFlat hierarchiesShift workDiversity, Equity and InclusionWe believe that the best results are created in a diverse and inclusive environment.
