Collaborating with the Chairman and CEO, this role will be either a Board Appointment or a CRO/Chief Relationship Officer capacity, dependent on the seniority of applicants. The purpose of the position is to make business development relationships within the offshore wind industry across Northern Europe. He/she will understand the company and its client’s businesses and the offshore wind industry intimately, the market they operate in and create relationships that advance their business and grow advocacy.Job PurposeDrive strategic business development and relationship-building efforts within the offshore wind sector.Leverage existing networks to foster partnerships with major wind energy companies and adjacent industries.Enhance client visibility and influence in the offshore wind market through strategic alliances.Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and collaboration within the renewable energy space.Serve as a key liaison between the company and industry stakeholders to promote shared goals and initiatives.Required Skills, Experience & QualificationsProven and/or current experience in a C-suite role (CEO, COO, or equivalent) within the renewable energy sector, preferably offshore wind. OR sitting on one or more boards within the industry.Established track record as an effective CXO/board member with experience in strategic decision-making and business development.Strong network of relationships within the wind energy and logistics industries.Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing projects that drive growth and partnerships in-industry.Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
