Bike Rental Associate - Part time 28h page is loaded## Bike Rental Associate - Part time 28hlocations: Girona, Spaintime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: Trek ## Job DescriptionA day (or week) might look like this…## **Sales and customer interaction (50%)*** Deliver exceptional hospitality - explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental; including length of rental and return options.* Schedule and carry out bikes for rentals and Self-Guided tour customers, including sizing, set-up and mechanical adjustment of bikes and accessories.# ## **Communication and organization (30%)*** Manage daily rental schedule with Rent a Bike Now system.* Respond to bike hire enquiries via email, phone and in-person, including advising potential customers on the suitability and availability of bikes and routes.## ## **Maintain bike fleet and equipment (10%)*** Assist the Mechanic with management, maintenance, and repair of the bike fleet.* Ensure all rental equipment is clean, serviced, and tested according to industry standards.## **Retail associate (10%)*** Educate customers about add-on accessories and additional equipment.* Work with internal and external departments to ensure one seamless guest experience.## What You Will Bring to the Team* A positive, motivated attitude to help every customer find what they need.* Outstanding hospitality: warm and approachable service, strong listening skills, and the willingness to help in every way you can, even on the busiest and toughest days.* Strong communication skills with customers and team members.* A desire to build customer relationships and create your own client base.* Commitment to providing every customer with the best possible cycling experience.* High level of English.## What We Offer* Permanent contract* Part time = 28 h/week (possibility of increasing hours during peak season)* Employee discount on bikes and accessories* Financial compensation if you commute to work by bike* Life insurance*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*Trek is a place where you’re valued for being you.
