Experteer Overview In this Automation Engineer role, you will ensure reliable performance of automated equipment across Baxter’s manufacturing sites. You’ll focus on PLC/HMI programming, data integration, and automation problem-solving to improve packaging processes in a GMP environment. You’ll work within a regional team to drive efficiency, reduce downtime, and support digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives. This is a hands-on role that combines technical delivery with cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement, offering a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Fix and optimize PLC and HMI systems on automated production lines
- Develop and modify control logic to improve process stability and reduce downtime
- Integrate SCADA and MES systems for data collection and performance tracking
- Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions for automation issues
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and maintenance teams to ensure cohesive system functionality
- Implement software change controls according to GMP and validation procedures
- Support digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives across Baxter sites
- Provide training to site technicians and engineers on control systems procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on Overall Equipment Effectiveness, waste reduction, and process reliabilityResponsabilidades
- Degree or equivalent experience in Automation, Software, Control Engineering or a similar field
- Proven experience in automation of filling/packaging technology in manufacturing/production
- Strong PLC programming, HMI and SCADA development knowledge
- Solid understanding of automation architectures and system integration
- Analytical and structured problem-solving approach
- Fluent English communication in a work environment
