This role combines technical leadership with hands-on involvement, ensuring seamless coordination between ground testing and in-orbit spacecraft operations. You will lead a team of engineers, drive operational excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of AOCS performance and processes.About the RoleThis role combines technical leadership with hands-on involvement, ensuring seamless coordination between ground testing and in-orbit spacecraft operations.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of AOCS AIT and On-Orbit Support EngineersDefine operational schedules and delegate responsibilities across AIT and on-orbit activitiesCoordinate with international engineering teams to ensure alignment and performancePlan and oversee test campaigns and on-orbit task executionMonitor, investigate, and resolve anomalies affecting spacecraft safety and performancePropose and implement improvements to test plans and operational proceduresEnsure documentation is complete, accurate, and traceableSupport hiring and development of local engineering talent as neededParticipate directly in AIT and on-orbit activities when requiredContribute to automation and efficiency improvements across operationsQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in spacecraft attitude and orbit control systemsProfessional Level of English (Writen and Spoken)Valid work permit in the country of employmentRequired SkillsStrong leadership and team coordination abilitiesExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentIndependent, reliable, and adaptablePreferred SkillsAOCS design, optimization, and system-level performance analysisHands-on experience with spacecraft AIT activitiesExecution and evaluation of satellite test plansTelemetry analysis and component-level performance assessmentFamiliarity with on-orbit operations and anomaly resolution processesExperience with documentation and process managementThis is an opportunity to play a key role in spacecraft operations, combining leadership and technical expertise to support mission success from ground testing through on-orbit performance. xcskxlj Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
