About the role At Casfid (a Fever company), we build the technology that powers on-site experiences at some of the largest live events worldwide. Casfid is the RFID, access control and cashless payments technology provider of Fever Group, enabling millions of attendees to enjoy seamless, real-time event experiences. Our Android applications are a critical part of Fever's operational ecosystem, powering cashless payments, access control, ticketing, recharges and other on-site workflows. These applications run on smartphones, kiosks/totems and custom hardware devices designed in-house, and are used in large-scale, high-demand environments across multiple countries. We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team and help us evolve our Android platform. You will work mainly with Kotlin, contribute to the progressive migration from Java, and help build scalable and reliable solutions used by millions of users in real time. Key responsibilities Design, develop and maintain native Android applications, primarily using Kotlin, following Android best practices and Google design guidelines. Maintain and evolve existing Android applications built in Java, contributing to their progressive migration to Kotlin. Manage asynchronous workflows using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, while maintaining existing implementations based on RxJava. Apply SOLID principles to ensure clean, maintainable and scalable code. Collaborate with the team to implement improvements using Jetpack libraries (Compose is a plus). Use tools such as Gradle and Fastlane to automate build, testing and deployment processes. Build software used at large-scale live events across 10+ countries, running on mobile devices, kiosks/totems and custom hardware for access control and cashless operations. Work closely with product, hardware and operations teams to deliver robust solutions in high-throughput, real-time environments. About you 5+ years of experience as a native Android developer. Strong experience developing Android applications using Kotlin. Proven ability to read, understand and maintain Java code in a mixed Java/Kotlin codebase. Strong knowledge of the Android ecosystem: Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack (Compose is a plus), Coroutines and/or RxJava, and dependency injection with Dagger or Hilt. Experience building Android applications with offline/online support, background tasks, or multi-process architectures. Good English level to read technical documentation, research solutions and communicate in writing. Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams. It would be a plus if you...
