ph3General Purpose /h3 pThe Accounting Manager leads a team of accountants and oversees accounting and financial reporting activities within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results, managing the month‑end close process, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting audit requirements, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with operations and leadership to drive effective financial management and continuous process improvement. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead, develop, and supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management. /li liOversee the month end, quarter end, and year end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. /li liReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. /li liEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information and reporting. /li liAnalyze financial results, investigate variances and trends, and partner with leadership to resolve issues and drive informed decision making. /li liMaintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. /li liPartner with operational and corporate leadership to address accounting matters and support organizational objectives. /li liDrive process improvements, standardization efforts, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. /li liProvide technical accounting guidance and mentorship to accounting staff. /li liSupport acquisitions, system implementations, and other business initiatives as assigned. /li liLead and participate in cross‑functional projects, ad hoc analyses, and strategic initiatives to support the organization's continued growth and evolving business needs. /li liPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. /li /ul h3Supervisory Requirements /h3 ul li2+ years of experience leading, supervising, or managing accounting professionals preferred. /li liDemonstrated ability to coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to employees. /li liAbility to effectively prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and manage competing deadlines. /li /ul h3Physical Demands /h3 ul liProlonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and performing detailed financial and accounting tasks requiring sustained concentration and attention to detail. /li liFrequent use of hands, fingers, and wrists to operate computers, calculators, telephone, and other standard office equipment. /li liAbility to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and electronic communication platforms with employees, leadership, auditors, and external business partners. /li liOccasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting or carrying office materials and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds. /li liAbility to travel occasionally to corporate offices, facilities, training events, audits, meetings, or other business‑related locations as needed. /li /ul h3Qualification /h3 h3Education And/or Experience /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. /li liCPA preferred; active pursuit of CPA certification required. /li liMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience required. /li liPrevious management, supervisory, or team leadership experience preferred. /li /ul h3Pay Range: $110,000-$125,000 /h3 h3Our Comprehensive Benefits Include /h3 ul liHealth Coverage: medical, dental, and vision plans. /li liPTO and Vacation: generous paid time off and holidays. /li liFinancial Wellness: Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). /li liRetirement Planning: 401(k) plan with company contributions. /li liEmployee Assistance Plan (EAP): confidential support for personal and professional challenges. /li /ul pWe celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
