Reporting to the Sr. Accountant Nordics, this role will be responsible for ensuring the proper financial management of the company through the accurate recording of transactions, the accounting consolidation of subsidiaries, and compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will manage audits and optimize financial and administrative efficiency. The selected person may be based in Alicante. Main Responsibilities Accurately record and process all incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring timely recognition of financial transactions in accordance with internal policies and IFRS accounting standards. Guarantee the proper registration of all financial operations, maintaining consistency, traceability, and alignment with the company’s accounting framework. Lead/co-coordinate the monthly closes, producing accurate and timely financial statements that support business decision-making and comply with regulatory standards. Coordinate and ensure compliance with all tax obligations, partnering with local advisors and Group Tax. Prepared customer invoicing and VAT returns. Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits, preparing all necessary documentation and ensuring the audit process runs smoothly and efficiently. The Accountant is expected to be a role model of integrity and high ethical standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. A certified accounting qualification would be a plus. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations, with proven ability to apply them in a practical and strategic manner. Advanced proficiency in SAP or other accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Navision, NetSuite). Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level). Required Experience At least 3-5 years' work experience in general accounting. Solid background in accounting, audits, tax compliance, and the preparation. Desirably, fluency in a Nordic language, preferably Danish. Core Capabilities Proficient in data analysis and full-cycle financial accounting processes. Understanding of accounting standards, best practices, and up-to-date financial regulations. Strong analytical mindset with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation and reporting. Effective communication skills to convey complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex financial scenarios.
