WHO WE AREAskerra is an SAT prep company based in Barcelona. We work with students from around the world preparing for US university admissions — through courses, webinars, YouTube, and a growing library of learning materials. The company is built on nearly 10,000 hours of one-on-one tutoring, and we're now turning that experience into something that can reach a lot more people.The SAT is a standardized test covering reading, writing, and math. You don't need to know it to apply — we'll teach you what you need.HOW WE SEE THIS ROLEYou'll work with the founder to build the content and community side of the business — YouTube, worksheets, webinars, Discord, and whatever else comes up as we grow. Any professional writing experience is valuable — academic, journalistic, editorial, or otherwise. Strong math skills are essential: you'll be working with SAT-level algebra, geometry, and data analysis daily, and you need to be genuinely comfortable with that.As part of the hiring process, we'll ask you to take an actual SAT test after the first interview. How you perform on it carries as much weight as your CV.If any of these mean something to you, we'd like to know: coding in any language, Git/GitHub, LaTeX, Neovim, prompt engineering, video editing, SAT score above 1500.
