Jefe/a de Recepción – Hotel Barceló Málaga
Location: Barceló Málaga, Málaga, España. Job Type: Full time. Posted Yesterday. Contract type: Fijo.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Head of Department to supervise daily room reservation planning for short, medium, and long term, occupancy reports, statistics, and the "no‑shows" list, VIP customers, etc.
Check the Rooming List of groups, room assignments and changes.
Attend, register, and personally assign rooms to customers when necessary.
Handle complaints personally, notifying the relevant departments.
Propose improvements to the Head of Department.
Collaborate with the Reception Head and management on room rate policies, event billing, and nightly production closes.
Qualifications
Degree in Tourism, Business Administration or similar.
Higher education training in Hospitality.
Minimum two years of experience in a similar position.
High level English; second language desirable, especially Italian and French.
Proficiency with Opera Cloud, CRM, BEA, Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
