Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production, quality), guarantee welders follow-up and provides them with welding training at the workplace and much more.You’ll specifically take care of** ensuring the proper execution of the Special Welding Process in the production workshop through the monitoring and indispensable support for welders**, but also ensuring adequate training for current or new incorporated welders.We’ll look to you for:- Verify that welders have at their disposal the technical and documentary means necessary for the proper execution of their tasks- Systematically inform the Welding Coordinator of the deviations and problems identified.- Has technical authority over welders in the field of welding.- Validates semiannual reviews of welders' qualifications.- Assists workshop managers in their tasks related to welding techniques.- Participate with the verifier in the control of the first piece executed- Control and follow the performance of any new welder in the workplace.- Verify the proper use of WPS and welding instructions- Verify the correct use of welding materials.- Performs equipment calibration according to the technical instruction.- Seeks improvements for welding works jobs, assemblies, materials and welding conditions in general.- Participate in the technical choice of new welding materials.- Participate in the startup of the new equipment.- Support the Manufacturing Quality department in the visual inspection of welded components.- Prepare the necessary technical means (base metal, samples, gas and contribution products) for the training / certification of welders performing welding procedures and models.- Ensures proper training of contracted welders, through practical tests.- You must ensure that each student / welder reaches the conditions that are necessary to obtain their certification and to be operational in manufacturing positions in the shortest possible time.- It can guarantee only the basic training of welders: recognition of welding failures, symbolization of welds, reading of documents (WPS, welding instructions), recognition of welding products and gases, calibration of your welding material, current and preventive maintenance of the material, hygiene and safety linked to welding.- Keeps track of weld trainings up to date and available to the Welding Technician.- Versatile in terms of welding processes, familiar with all materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminium).- Welder first of all, is available to the Welding Engineer / Welding Technician at any time to make the samples (WPS) and welding validations WPQR necessary for manufacturing.- Likewise, under the responsibility of the Welding Technician, he performs welding tests for the evaluation of contribution products and new welding equipment.**All about you**We value passion and attitude over experience.
